The department of BBA (Travel & Tourism) was established in the year 2011. It offers a 3 year full time self financed degree program in BBA-T&T affiliated to Goa University. The objective of the program is to prepare the students to take up challenges and responsibilities with specialized knowledge and practical skills that employers look for in the candidate.

Name: Ms. Maya C. Talwadker

Designation: Assistant Professor (Course Coordinator)

Qualifications: MBA, MA (Tourism Management), SET (Management), NET (Tourism Administration Management), Pursuing PhD in Goa Business School, Goa University

Experience: 13 years

Ms. Maya joined Rosary College in the year 2011. She has total of 13 years of teaching experience. Prior to Rosary College, she taught at St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, for four years. She handles various duties and responsibilities as Course Coordinator, as Class Teacher and Mentor, as member of various committees of the college, for the smooth conduct of the Programme. She teaches papers like Fundamentals of Tourism Industry, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Tourism Products of India, Event Management, Global Distribution System, Total Quality Management, and Retail Management. She organizes various activities for the benefit of the students such as seminars, workshops, field trips, study tours, industry visits, etc.

Teaching: 14 Years (Undergraduate Level)

Surabhi Gore joined Rosary College in 2012. She teaches tourism and management subjects to the undergraduate students of the department. Besides teaching, she is also involved in the research and administrative work of the department, student mentoring and career guidance. Her research interests are in the field of strategy, tourism planning, tourism destination management and customer relationship management. Ms Gore has published research papers in Scopus, UGC care and other peer-reviewed multidisciplinary and tourism journals.

Name: Ms. Flina Fernandes

Designation: Assistant Professor

Qualification: Masters in Business Administration (Marketing, Human Resource)

Ms. Flina is a proud alumnus of Rosary College. She is highly dedicated and an enthusiastic individual with good skills of multi-tasking. She teaches papers such as Destination Management, Employee Engagement, Strategic Management, Economics of Tourism, Presentation Skills, Case Analysis & Negotiation Skills. She also has corporate experience as a Marketing Executive & HR intern. Her area of interest is Travelling & Reading.


Name: Mr. Fabian Mark D’Souza

Designation: Assistant Professor

Qualification: Postgraduate in English; B.Ed with specialization in English & Commerce Methodologies

He previously worked as an Assistant Professor of English at Sridora Caculo College of Commerce & Management Studies, Mapusa. His primary responsibility was teaching Technical Writing Skills to S.Y.BCA students, with a special focus on Business Correspondence. He also actively participated in other curricular activities, such as collaborative compering of events.

Before entering the teaching profession, He gained valuable experience working with L.S. Vaz & Company for a considerable period of time.
